Give New Zealand’s tonies community an official home
Tonies New Zealand already is where New Zealand’s Toniebox families gather — to swap recommendations, troubleshoot, and find out what’s coming. We’re asking tonies ANZ to make that formal, the same way tonies already backs community groups overseas.
What we’re asking for
- Recognise what already runs. This isn’t a request to build something — the group exists, it’s active, and it’s moderated by New Zealand parents. We’re asking tonies ANZ to ratify it as the community home for tonies in New Zealand.
- Extend the community model tonies already runs. In the US, tonies supports community groups under its “tonies for Play” programme. We’re asking for that model in ANZ.
- A named contact at tonies ANZ for product news, launch dates, restocks and community giveaways.
- What we bring in return. A moderated, active New Zealand community that already answers questions, helps new families set up, and passes on what it learns — at no cost to tonies, and no work for anyone at tonies ANZ.
Why it matters

tonies.co.nz ships here, and Toniebox is stocked in New Zealand by retailers including JB Hi-Fi, Baby Bunting, Toyworld and Spark. The customers are already here — the community support isn’t.
tonies already does this elsewhere
tonies’ own “tonies for Play” programme points families to community groups it supports in the US. We aren’t asking for something new — we’re asking for something that already exists, in a market that already has customers.
It costs tonies nothing to say yes
The group is already running, already moderated, and already full of families who own the product. Recognition doesn’t create work — it just makes the front door official.

Release dates, exclusives and restocks reach Australian buyers first and reach New Zealand by word of mouth. A recognised group fixes that with a single point of contact.
